Philip Sparkle debuts his album of 15 original comedy songs: AT THE GAY BATHHOUSE. Calling to mind a deranged, gay Bo Burnham, Philip Sparkle invites listeners into seedy and strange worlds seen from a queer perspective: like discovering what's inside a gay bathhouse, roasting The Instagays, and warning how expensive chicken fingers are in Iceland for the gay traveller on a budget. The songs range in musical style from Euro-trash techno (“Danke and Bitte”) to smooth jazz (“Nordic Hell”) to punk-rock (“The Bro & The Gay”) to summer disco ("Gold Star Gay") to Broadway showstoppers (“Live Epic”). The Rupaul inspired song “I Don’t Like Paper” was released earlier this year on Youtube as a vibrant and queertastic music video directed by Julie Rega. AT THE GAY BATHHOUSE will drop on Apple Music, Spotify and all digital outlets the day-of the show.

REEL

In a comedy scene oversaturated with irony and cynicism, improv master Philip Markle invites you to indulge in blissful inanity.
